This final CD is 75 minutes of pure, Sixpence-y goodness. The new tracks are catchy, the favorite tracks are golden, and the hard-to-find single tracks are reeeeaaally cool. (Witness: covers of a song by ex-Beach Boy Brian Wilson, ABBA's Dancing Queen, and "Kiss Me" in Japanese!)I had "Loser Like Me" running through my mind all day today.
Mmm, Sixpence-y goodness.

It is sad to see them go but I was blessed to have gotten a hold of this their last CD.I really like "Loser Like Me" and it was great to get their singles like "Breathe", "There She Goes" (which wasn't on my copy of their self-titled CD) and I really liked "The Ground You Shook". I hadn't heard that one before, but it is very guitar-worthy.
I hope to hear more of Matt Slocum's song-writting soon as well as Leigh's voice.
