I thought it was very boring and a letdown. I have given it quite a few listens. It just is far too generic to be very good. I gave it a 4. I think I could find numerous more talented bands with a better overall sound. I really liked fireproof mind you, but this album doesn't have anything that reaches out and grabs you.

timid is how it seems musically to me.
OMG! I like cussing over someones view of music.

Pretty Good....a bit toneed down from Fireproof, but still fairly good....the vocals aren't as cool, but the riffs are better, and the lyrics are still great...

Pillar Rox and this cd is 10/10 for sure. I love cd's where you can just listen though the whole thing without wanting to go to a different songs.

their best yet

Posted on 01-30-2006 by DKelly
This one is good, but I hear the new one their working on right now is going to be a lot better.

Posted on 02-16-2005 by g-fizzle
Fireproof ROCKED!!!! Above ROCKED!!! so whats w/this toned down/vague lyric attempt @ mainstream. What The Flip Are We Doing Here?!?! :( :(

Posted on 02-23-2005 by Unregisted
OH, you bunch of wingers. Go and write some songs and then publish four cd's
without getting lost in the world of self righteousness. Pillar are one of the best things to ever happen to music and any one who dissagrees needs to get thier ears tested.

Now to the band. PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make another CD soon.

Posted on 03-05-2005 by DKelly
These guys rule! I have all their albums ( well, except their first one, which I had but gave to my brother ). I have seen them in concert and talked with the bass player Kalel( great guy ). I have to say this is the best they have made ( the second is Fireproof ). I will always be a fan!!

Posted on 03-06-2005 by Symbiotic
I saw these guys live!....they butchered the first few songs(including Fireproof; which they didn't even play the same[different music for it])....but they got better after about 3 songs and did a totally awesome show!!!!.....check 'em out live if you ever get the chance......good moshing too!

Gets old after a while, it's pretty good though, 6 or 7.

I hope so this one got boring real quick(except for Noahs riffs).

i thought this was a really great cd. i didnt really like pillar when they were rap/rock. i started listening 2 them with the fireproof cd, and i thought it was really good. but i was blown away with this cd. every song is excellent. and i love the solo on dirty little secret, which is the best song!

Posted on 03-28-2005 by DKelly
Good music. Great sound.

The only complaint is the chorus on "One Thing". It just seems a little repetitive to me. But the rest is great stuff.

Posted on 04-22-2006 by Dani_Boy
The only songs I've ever heard from Pillar are Frontline and Bring Me Down from this album. AND THEY SO ROCK!!! I don't know if all the songs are great, but Bring Me Down and Frontline certainly are!

It's as a whole a good CD but Fireproof is better in my opinion.

WDWGFH is a great all-'round CD, my favorite songs being Frontline, Let It Out, Bring Me Down, and Hyptonized.

Posted on 06-28-2007 by live_it_live
wow guys:P get with the program! that cd is great. and realy realy old! the broken down ep album is realy good also

Posted on 07-06-2005 by CRloveSkillet13
This is like one of the best CDs ever!! It is my favorite one I have(except for skillet-collide)! Someone said they sound like generic nu-metal. That is wrong. They are their own kind. I can't pick my favorite songs. They are all awesome. I have their Limited edition CD, which includes U2's song "Sunday Bloody Sunday", and Bring Me Down" remix. Pillar and Skillet are the best bands ever!

Posted on 07-16-2007 by schecter777
Pretty good, but not their best. Top songs are "Frontline," "Bring Me Down," "Hypnotized."

Posted on 07-21-2009 by telestarjammer
My fav from Pillar. I'm glad Rob dropped the rapping. I think his voice is better suited for singing then rapping.

Posted on 07-25-2005 by HolyRockJfreak
This cd is freakin awesome! Great sound, going from hard to some softer stuff, this disc has everything. The best songs are "Bring me down" and "Frontline". Pillar rocks hard.
Agree to that Frontline and Bring me down are definitely the best!

they are awesome, i went to go see them in concert and it was cool, their new cd is great

this cd is the freakin awsomerest! I love Frontline and Aftershock! They sound so much better with their new drummer, Lester (spell check?)!

Posted on 08-07-2004 by Jonular
I'll say it again.....It's still generic nu-metal. They really need to break out of that genre.

that's not really what they are they used to be rapcore rock, but now they lost most of the rap part, so they're just a hard rock and roll band

2 words........The Bomb

Posted on 08-10-2004 by SwitchfootRulz!
Pillar flat-out rocks hard! Not one song on the CD i don't like. (Even the 2 slower ones are awesome.)

Posted on 08-11-2004 by texandawg1288
pillar is awwwesome, if you dont like them you got some problems

Posted on 08-12-2004 by OneWithTheMud
I thought this CD was definitely good, 9-worthy. Hypnotized is my favorite song so far. It's at least as good as Fireproof, maybe better.

Posted on 08-12-2004 by John Allison
A great cd. my favourite songs are Simply, Let it out, and Frontline.

Posted on 08-12-2004 by punkrox102
love it like holding on and frontline the most i also like simply

Posted on 08-16-2004 by Unregisted
This is the bomb. I live in Kansas City and I cant wait to see them in concert in a few weeks. And there is only one place to "go from here" and thats to heaven.

Posted on 08-16-2004 by Jonular

why's that so bad? As long as it sounds good, who cares what style it's in.

Posted on 08-20-2005 by ChurchPunk 2
Good CD. Worth buying.

yeah, so what? it works for them. saying a band needs to "break out of a genre" because you don't like it is just dumb. if you don't like hard rock then don't listen to it.

Pillar put a great mix together on this cd. They put a totally cool cd together, I listen to it a ton, it's from Hard Core sounds of Bring Me Down to more pop sound like Rewind.

whoa! switch to decaf :whoa:

Posted on 09-06-2005 by Napoleon17
worth the ten bucks, but not as good as Fireproof. I would describe the cd as monotonous, tiring, and overall unimpressive, but a couple songs are very good, the problem was, by the time I got the cd, they had already been beaten to death on the radio. I gave it a 6.

Posted on 09-08-2004 by tribal_warrior7
this cd totally rocks. my favorites are bring me down, let it out, and simply. btw, their drummer is in this months edition of modern day drummer.

Posted on 09-08-2006 by tl_guitarnut
I like both fireproof and WDWGFH, their so talented.

Posted on 09-09-2004 by Drew Peterson
I love that track that is between track 11 and 12...it was a while before I discovered it...it is so cool.

Posted on 09-09-2006 by shatteredshadow
i like the song hypnotized...that probly my favorite...

Posted on 09-11-2004 by tribal_warrior7
yeah the hidden track is pretty cool. it gets kind of annoying after awhile though

Posted on 09-11-2006 by Iceman-bass14
i love this cd...favorites are hypnotized and frontline.

Posted on 09-14-2004 by *Schoolrawk*
That hidden little rift of music between 11 and 12 is pretty cool. Especially after rocking to 11. I hope that music appears in a later CD or song.

Posted on 09-14-2005 by pillarfan
This is definetly one of their best Cd's! I give it a 9!

Posted on 09-17-2005 by fenderman2
Great CD. Best Songs are Aftershock(12) Frontline(7) and Bring Me Down(2)Buy It If you Don't Have It The Limited Edition is the one w/ Sunday Bloody Sunday and Bring Me Down(Underground Mix) 10 out of 10 in my book
they are awesome, i went to go see them in concert and it was cool, their new cd is great
Same Here

Posted on 09-18-2004 by Shaneathin86
awesome cd, more than i even expected. i've seen these guys in concert 4 times and one of them was after this cd released. seeing them do frontline in concert is really cool. underneath it all, frontline, and aftershock are the favorites

and to stick it to the jon let nu-metal live forever!

Posted on 09-18-2004 by guitarfreak217
....But musically, they're still nu-metal.

~Jon
true, they have managed to find get themselves there. but it's so much better than their first cd. they started to get good (in my opinion, and i am a bit of a nu-metal (i hate that term) fan) on their second cd when Noah (guitars) replaced their old guitarist and such. they do sound really good with the new drummer too. this is definitely not a good cd for the fans of their old stuff is what i'm thinking though.

Posted on 10-03-2004 by njsk8rboy
pretty good but some songs are to long. favorites are staring back, rewind, bring me down, and frontline

Posted on 10-05-2004 by SFan47
I love Pillar they are one of my favorite bands, this is my favorite cd by them.
I give it a 10.

i have only downloaded pillar songs, and i am not sure which ones are on this cd, but i like what i have heard.

Posted on 11-03-2006 by nbfan
This album was way too generic. Fireproof was better. Only a few songs on the CD(Hypnotized, Frontline, Rewind) were 'wow worthy' songs.

Posted on 11-08-2004 by RockerDud3
I dont have this C-D, but i really want it, it sounds great by reading the reviews, and I listened to it at sonshine, I just haven't got it yet,

they get a 10

Posted on 11-12-2004 by pillarocks
pillars bring me down is going to be on bmx vs. atv
comes out feb2005

espn is trying to by frontline

Posted on 11-22-2004 by ochants76
nu metal is just a label that people with no musical ability use to describe a bands style.....just like punk, hardcore, screamo, emo, metal, heavy metal, rap, hip hop, etc. there are no bands that start off by saying ok we are going to start a band that fits this exact "genre" who cares what it is labeled good music is good music bad music is bad music

Posted on 11-22-2005 by ice_wiz
Frontline rocks so hard!!!

I like this one alot.

Posted on 12-02-2004 by Corndog 2.0
yeah, I love pillar this cd is great. My favorites are frontline and hypnotized.

Posted on 12-07-2004 by hardcorerocker
Pillar's new CD is awesome. I love every song. But if you liked Fireproof and that Rap/Rock kinda music, you might not be into WDWGFH because it is pure rock, which is very awesome. Lyrics are great also. Favorite songs: Hypotized, Bring Me Down, Frontline.

Posted on 12-08-2004 by BillSPrestonEsq
I thought it was very boring and a letdown. I have given it quite a few listens. It just is far too generic to be very good. I gave it a 4. I think I could find numerous more talented bands with a better overall sound. I really liked fireproof mind you, but this album doesn't have anything that reaches out and grabs you.

timid is how it seems musically to me.
