8.5>9/10

Very good CD, it does seem like they true to fuse a lot of styles but this also adds variety, and the lyrics are, for the most part, refreshing and meaningful. A very promising opening fot his band.

Really good band! I talked to alot of people who dont like them , they said it was like a rocky boy band...???... i dont get that at all, i love ther sound, awesome guitar, amazing lyrics, all around awesome CD...the only problem is that to many of there songs sound alike i lthink.. that is why i gave it a 8.

All the songs on this CD are great, but the best are "Falling In Love", "Arafax Deep", "Bittersweet", "Broken Heart", "Symmetry", and "Escalates". If you like good vocals, you should get this CD, as Jessy Rigbordy has a great voice. This CD also takes a while to get old. We listened to it almost the entire way up to Spirit West Coast last time we went, and it was fun to sing along to the whole time. Also, there are lots of complex harmonies to find if you listen to the songs enough.

This CD rox my sox! But a couple of the songs just sound like loud noise.
I enjoyed the beginning of the cd, i think it kind of tailed off in the middle...
I agree with ABAB-P. It was great at the begginning, but it wasn't so great near the end. Overall it was a pretty good CD.

Recommended if you like rock

I found it to be kind of like a mix of Linkin Park and Hoobastank. I love 'em.

Posted on 04-02-2005 by MMHMM RK
Once again, THIS CD ROX MY FACE OFF!! All right, I got that out of my system.

Posted on 04-22-2009 by fflscw
Crashings is ok, but Jessy's voice should not be singing so low (i think New Hope Generation, which i really like, may have been too low for him), and they could use more help with their lyrics. the only ones i really liked were Symmetry, Broken Heart, Escalates, New Hope Generation, and Arafax Deep, everything else was just ok.

I was blown away when i first got this cd three years ago. These guys know how to rock.

7/10. I love the ambiance in Crashings, but so many times I feel like I'm hearing a Linkin Park knockoff. It would be fine if they did it well, but it sounds like a watered down LP. Nonetheless, I still do enjoy listening to it from time to time, lots of the riffs are pretty enjoyable, but nothing jumps out to me as excellent.

Falling Up is the most awesome band i've ever heard! they totally rock! when i bought the CD, i was totally impressed. people say they sound alot like kutless, but i don't think that's very acurate. there power chords are different... way different.
Recommended if you like rock
i'd say the best way to describe them is an industrial band with punk tendencies and a tenor singer. gotta love 'em!

Basically, you could consider that rock music.

Posted on 06-16-2005 by audioafan
everything's tight, good musicianship- just like kutless. actually, if you like kutless, you'll probly like these guys. their styles are similar.

hey i think they once referred to their genre as "POSH rock". does anyone know what "POSH" stands for? it's like punk something- that's all i know:-/

Best Songs:
..............................ALL OF THEM>>>>!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted on 07-09-2004 by ABAC-P
I enjoyed the beginning of the cd, i think it kind of tailed off in the middle, not to mention that it feels very disjointed, like they tried to do too many styles.

It's still an awesome cd. Pick it up people!

I went to the store with no intentions of buying this CD, but of all the CDs I sampled while there, Crashings was by far the best. Now I own it and love it.

I haven't heard the whole CD yet, but I like how there's a band out there similar to Linkin Park. I saw them at a Kutless concert a few months ago and loved them. To me they were like Linkin Park with very emo vocals. A friend of mine and I like to call them Linkin Christ

Posted on 08-25-2004 by natedawg5280
one of the greatest christian CD's ever. vocals an guitar mix perfectly. Great at mellow songs and heavy stuff (fallinginlove-newhopegeneration)

Actually, I believe it's "PASH rock", as in passionate rock. That, to me, makes more sense.

Posted on 09-04-2004 by Unregisted
I love this cd.
I agree with the person who said they remind them of Linkin park.
i call them the christian linkin park.
they both have are rock with added raps now and then but only they focus on God
i give it a 10!!!

This is a Great cd, the best part is that they have a strong message in the lyrics and really rock it on here. I've heard people say Christian bands don't know how to rock but Falling up is one who does.

I got the cd a few days ago and haven't been able to listen to anything else.
These guys rock.

falling in love has got to be one of my favorite songs

Posted on 12-04-2005 by falconplayer11
I had never heard of Falling Up until a few days ago. They're pretty good. Is their new album better than this one? I heard some samples on amazon and it sounds even better. Falling in Love is an awesome song. A few songs on the album I just can't listen to, though. But the good definitely outnumbered the bad here. I gave it an 8.

You have no idea. Dawn Escapes is so much better than Crashings. You'll like it better, no doubt.

I was at FreakFest in Kitchener Ontario, Canada and was waiting to see John Rueben and thousand foot krutch.
They kept playing this CD over the mains between sets, at the time I didn't know what band it was but I was like "Whoah this band rocks"
Finaly I found out it was Falling Up after seeing them on East West and immidiatly got the CD.
Just AMAZING!
They don't water down the lyrics, it's hard hitting, lyricaly driven and filled with sweet rifts and vocals.
Awesome hard rock and sweet melodies.

Agreed....couldn't have said it better myself. They totally rock. I saw then live, and they still bring the rockin' power to their shows just like on the cd.
