Noone wants to touch this? ok.
Stavesacre is my favorite band in the whole wide world, lets start with that. Alot of Stave fans rate this CD as their least favorite stave CD. I do too, but for good reason. The songs on their own are great, but pale in comparison from speakeasy, friction or absolutes. If you know the history of the band, Jeff Bellew left stavesacre throughout the recording of Speakeasy, but stayed on with the new guitarist (Ryan d.)and wrote most of the songs himself. Therefore (stavz'a'ker) is their first album without the obvious amazing talent of Jeff's songwriting.

Their new stuff previewed on their website for their next album sounds more like speakeasy, and is definately improving towards that quality.
