These guys are Christian rap at its finest. With wonderful beats and a wide variety of styles, this group of fine rappers and producers rivals anything in the secular market. This CD hits every point that rap is supposed to, with the party songs ("Here To Party", "187 On The Dancefloor"), the song about the girl ("I Can't Have Her"), and the "ego-song" ("The Emcees"). Meanwhile, they throw in songs dealing with despair ("Charlie Brown") and hope ("Gonna Be Alright") all with an unshakable sense of style. This CD is perfect for any fan of hip-hop and is a perfect introduction for those who are not. I gave it a 9.Posted on 04-10-2005 by Crazy_Pants
I love LA Symphony, but I am not a fan of this album. Pigeon John is the man, and Symph has had some great compilation apprearances, but this album is less than their best effort. Definately listen to it before you decide to buy it.
