How do greatest hits albums like this get made? and why on earth would you put out a greatest hits album and not include their biggest hit on it (Power of Love)? This sort of thing baffles me. Of course I know the answer is that their record label wanted to put out a greatest hits album after they broke up, but that doesn't change the fact that its moronic to do so. Its a decent set of songs for what it is, but it could have and should have been a better set of songs. I think guardian actually released their own greatest hits album a few years later indendently, but I'm not positive.
They did. Its Called "Sunday Best" and has a much better selection than this one. They did leave out some of their best written songs on "Smashes".

Yeah you're right, but techinically if Guardian would do their greatest hits at least half of Fire and Love would be on there.
I still really like this cd though a unique blend of different styles of songs including 80's Heavy Metal, modern heavy metal, hard rock, modern rock, maybe even a little alternative. This cd is very good even though not a very good greatest hits.

God Bless!
