this is one of the greatest worship albums ever put out. If you like his "Can You Hear Us" release but wish it wasn't so clubby then this is perfect. A lot of the songs are hard to play and sing at the same time, but some practice and they're definately possilble and great for most any worship setting, whether with a full band or unplugged.

oh and one more thingThough these songs are simple for people to join in on, they are by no means standard.
I can't remember right now, but I don't think the 1,4,5 progression is even used.
plenty of room for dynamics.
it's good if you're bored with playing the same stuff all the time and feel like all the new music out is just more of the same.

I already said Dave Crowder was awesome in the actualy Dave Crowder cd, but the first cd when they were just UBC, now that was what I call an original worship cd. This is frickin awesome. He plays hard versions and voices of chords. This is great.Posted on 11-28-2002 by rdentwurship
d.c rocks! he is so creative.... defenitally set apart in the worship scene. his style, kinda tricky for your average worship band, is awesome. i love make a joyful noise and the title track all i can say. there is one line in all i can say that trips me up though.. maybe im just hearing it wrong ... "i gave you my heart, i just remeber where u sat it down" hmmm?? strange. if that right i wonder what he meant by God sitting down his heart. anywho, thats a whole other subject. the c.d is awesome my fav. of his.Posted on 12-08-2004 by georgeo
This is a pretty good album by Crowder. Treasure how unique his voice is on here, before he got Passion-ified.
