It's a good cd. it's more guitar based than their old cds.

Since I bought this CD (exactly a week ago), I've never listened to anything else on my CD player. I love all the songs, and the REALLY good ones are Pre-Ex, You Can't Handle This, The Day We Killed, Spartan, Vultures, Eulogy.....That's half the album right there. Sometimes albums with 12 tracks can be really short, but this is a rather long album, IMO, too. FIF2:EB is the best FIF album, and one of my favorite album's ever (which is odd, I've never been really hooked on FIF, but now they are like my favorite).

I LOOOVE this album. I was saved to the song Car by them on Valentines Day 2001. And it seems to be a lot more sad and really hits home for me. I'm glad it's not as sarcastic and joking as the other albums. It's more serious and really grasps on the concept of struggles throughout Christianity...

All of the albums have serious moments and funny songs. This one was not any different.

I didnt really love the album. I loved the old stuff so much and I think this cd was just too big of a change. Way to little ska guitar, is my personal opinion, but it was still a pretty good cd.
(I gave it a 8....or 7-I already forgot)

I thought it rocked. I liked other ones better but this one is really good. I love the messages on the songs but then again... all FIF songs had great messages.
I give it like a 9 or 10

This was an awesome CD, I don't have it right now cuz my sis took it back. So I'll buy it later prolly. But I like Plan B, Far Far Away, Blue Mixes and all the other songs...

Anything FIF is good though. I gave it a ten:D

i must say that despite previously only hearing one of the fisrt 3 albums cant remember which one but do konw that it was mad ska style that that eb is an amazing album i think have produced a hybrid of ska and punk rock that works very well. eulogy is just an awesome song and actually so is every other song except tor the day we killed i really was not impressed with that however great album, that desevrves an award

Definitely the best to come from FIF...which, sorry, isn't saying much. I gave it a 7.

overall it was an awesome CD. I love it, and the songwriter (i'm to lazy to get up and look for his name)--Reese, i think--is really good at writing the lyrics. Talk about poetic. but, for some reason its not the kinda CD that i can always listen to, its the kind where i have to be in the right mood, i'm not sure why, i think its just a matter of preference. i gave it a 9. (plus pre-ex-girlfriend is an AWESOME song, its hilarious. It sounds vaguely familiar, i'm not sure why.....)

I agree with the mood thing... I can't listen to it all the time either, but when I'm in the right mood I can just ROCK OUT with that disc! woohoo! And "You Can't Handle This" is one of the funniest songs I've heard in a while!!

"Making young girls pine... I don't have time... Babies get in line, I've got a protractor! Got a stapler now, it goes "ka-ching!"... Gotta have the math club crown me king.. Gotta rock the screen with cosine graphing on my calculator... If you're up... And if you want.. A piece of me... Wave goodbye, and blow a kiss 'cause you can't handle this!"

heh :D :D :D

The first time I heard this I was like, whooah, they are a lot harder on this album. Almost no ska guitar. They are now sort of Emo-rock with horns. Nevertheless, this is a great CD, I gave it a 9. Reese's vocals are spectacular and the songs are deep and catchy at the same time. I like this CD, but if your down and you want something to get you up, this is not the CD for it, instead get one of the others because this one is not as characteristically upbeat as the others.

This cd was awful. It was rock with horns. I gave it to a friend. Pre-Ex was good though.

I loved this album! I couldn't listen to it all the time, just b/c sometimes it isn't what I feel like listening to, but that has nothing to do with the music. On this album they had me thinking, and I could connect with the music. :D

FIF2:EB is by far the best FIF album.

Posted on 08-28-2002 by unkept secret
Proof the Youth are Revolting is the best (reckon anyway) but EB comes a close second.
I love Spartan, it speaks to me and reminds me of myself at times in my life... Reese just seems to get better every album they do, though his lyrics have always been good, in this album they are all excellent (though of course Jeff wrote car).
Car is also incredibly sad and moving...
And I love farsighted... and vultures and you can't handle this make me laugh...

I thought Leanor wrote Car..

Posted on 08-31-2002 by fifsuperpod37
lol Leanor helped Jeff write Car.

I just picked this up for $2. So far it sounds really good.

I'm just joking. Leanor Inez Ortega aka "Jeff the girl"
It's just like a nickname.

I personally prefer this to the older CD's. It's just hard, and the tracks have a little more substance. Just a personal opinion. FIF is definatly one of the greatest christian rock bands ever. Tis sad they are disbanding...

i didn't find this disc as awesome as their previous releases. I did like it alot though thats why i gave it an 8. it is different then their others, too kind of like All the hype was. with more rock less horns. i loved the CD though and listen to it VERY frequently

Posted on 11-28-2002 by rdentwurship
at first i had a hard time with this c.d - when it came out i was still hooked on proof that youth are revolting and expecting something that ska-ish and funny. but my friend tim - who is a faithful fif fan- made me give it another try and recently i have fell in love with that c.d its so creative. i love that they dont try to be so ska and that they just dont whatever they want and its crazy that they are good enough to get more serious and harder and keep such a strong fan base. well i am defenitally ready for the next c.d.. whatever style it may be

I just bought this CD again (it got stolen) and after listening to it again, I really really like it.
It is kind of hard to see it as a five iron CD tho, because as fudrudler said, it is rock with horns...but that is kind of cool. At first I didn't like it because it was too different, but coming back to it three years later, it is really good.

*sigh*

I listened to this not too long ago. For the millionth time...:D

Far Far Away is such a dang good song.

Awesome CD. My fav FIF cd so far (just barely beating Upbeats and Beatdowns). Plan B is prolly my favorite song, it's so fun to play on my saxophone. Pre-Ex-Girlfriend, You Can't Handle This, Spartan, Far Far Away, Juggernaut.....every song but one on this cd is great. The one song I that doesn't get much play time in my cd player is The Day We Killed, it's a good song, just not my cup o' tea. Overall, this is my favorite cd from my favorite band:D .
