He's talking about THIS album. Calm down.

Anyhow, I bought it. I don't love it. I like it well enough, I suppose. I need to listen to it a bit more before I can really decide. It just seems like more of the same to me.

My bad... I read it really quick... sorry...:(

What I've heard of it, It sounds better than MMHHMM (My least favorite RK LP).

All of my friends own it. What do you think?

Posted on 03-23-2007 by Adam K
I like it; though "I'm Taking You With Me" and "Bite My Tongue" aren't too outstanding.

Posted on 03-23-2007 by AudioACanuck
I like it, but how do you get the bonus track?
I like it, but how do you get the bonus track?
As far as I know, you have to buy it on iTunes to get the bonus track. You also have to buy the whole album on iTunes to get it, so if you already have the disc, don't bother. Its not a very good bonus track, anyway. EDIT: I just found out that the bonus track is a cover of a Beach Boys song. I still don't like it that much.

This is probably my favorite RK album thusfar, and I have all of them.

I give the album a 8/10. I think it's about at the same level of MmHmm. These are all my personal ratings of the songs.
1. Pleading the Fifth (A Cappella)
This short track is pretty amazing. 10/10
2. Come Right Out and Say It
A decent song, nothing too spectacular yet decently enjoyable. 7/10
3. I Need You
Quite a good song. Perhaps a little too harsh for me, but a well written song non-the-less. 9/10
4. The Best Thing
Personally, I think this song is the weakest song on the album. 6/10
5. Forgiven
Quite a good song. The piano gets a little repeatitious (at least to me), but still enjoyable. 8/10
6. Must Have Done Something Right
A pretty good song. I personally don't like the lyrics, being as all good things come from God, and nothing that one does is good enough to make them deserving of something good, but the song is not too bad. 7/10
7. Give Until There's Nothing Left
I personally really like this song. The transition from the bridge back to the chorus is well written. 8/10
8. Devastation and Reform
My favorite song on the album. 10/10
9. I'm Taking You With Me
Not a bad song at all. 8/10
10. Faking My Own Suicide
A decent song, but it gets a old after listening to it a lot. 7/10
11. Crayons Can Melt On Us for All I Care
 A perfect track for a Relient K cd. 10/10
12. Bite My Tongue
A lot of people seem to dislike this song. I personally find it quite enjoyable. 9/10
13. Up and Up
A pretty good song. There's not really anything that makes this song stand out, but it's enjoyable non-the-less. 8/10
14. Deathbed
This is my second favorite song on the album. 10/10

I think this new album is leaps about bounds better than MMHMM, Anatomy, etc. I'm officially a new RK fan now because of "Five Score".

"Come Right Out And Say It" and "The Best Thing" are probably my 2 least favorites of the album, but both are decent nonetheless. "Up and Up" isn't really special, it's OK.

The rest of the album I love, especially the catchy intro riff on "Devastation and Reform". :)

I think the CD is amazing but what effect do they use on the intro of "Bite My Toungue?"

Good album I give it a 9. I like them all really well except faking my own suicides melody gets old and the best things gets old to. Definalty worth buying.

Great CD - finally something that mixes Relient K's excellent songwriting (and rhyming) skills along wither their excellent musicianship, and yet holds back on the pointless junk and delves into more serious fare. "I Need You" has a great pounding verse and very, very, cool background vocals in the chorus, 'Give' is beautifully done, and 'Come Right Out and Say It' is just cool. My favorite song though is 'Bite My Tongue’; sure the verses kind of stink, but the chorus and intro make up for it.

You buy it on iTunes. It's a decent cover, but you really just need the original.

If you buy the special edition one cd/one dvd version, it comes with a video cover.

Love the CD! I give it a 9. Not as good as "Two Lefts..." but They're getting into a bit of a different style and the guitar parts are way better (especially on "Devistation and Reform"). Yeah. Great album. Love RK.

It's a very good CD, Deathbed is my favorite, but I also like I Need You and Devastation And Reform.

This is a good CD from Relient K. I gave it an 8 because I gave MMHMM a 9, and I think this one is just below MMHMM both musically and in some cases better lyrically. I don't understand why most people don't like "The Best Thing." I think that's one of the better songs on the album. My two favorite tracks however, are Devastation and Reform and Bite My Tongue.

Posted on 09-08-2007 by peter600
This is a great CD, it would have to be my favourite cd overall so far. (this could be because I'v just heard all their other songs to much and are starting to get boring) but i also like the new style.
I really like deathbed and bite my tongue

I think I voted 8....And I would rank it somewhere in the middle of the others.

Yeah, originally I was one of 'The Best Thing' haters, but for some reason, I think its one of the best songs on the album now...despite the yawn-inducing music video.

Bleh, the Best Thing doesn't do anything for me.

I think that Five Score is WAY too much pop for me to handle. Sure it's catchy, but RK displayed crunchiness and catchiness on mmhmm to great results. But as always, it's still a good album from the RK boys with 2 too many tracks about bubbly love.

Forgiven is an amazing song, as is Deathbed. I always chuckle when I listen to Faking My Own Suicide, but it gets old, and Must Have Done Something Right is as catchy as heck, but the music video is better. The Best Thing and Taking You With Me as well as Up and Up are songs that disturb the overall quality of the album with their fluffy choruses and poppy anthems.

Posted on 10-31-2007 by conceived in fire
Odd - apparently I voted but I haven't posted in here. Hopefully I gave it a 7 or 8.

In some ways it's not as good as MmmHmm, but there's more musical diversity for one thing. The only song I don't like and always skip is "Must Have Done Something". The lyrics are cliche (although at least they sort of admit so) and the music is pretty bland.

Other than that I love it. My favorite songs are "I Need You", "Devastation and Reform", "Faking My Own Suicide" and "Deathbed". The last one pretty amazing in how it's 11 minutes long and doesn't really drag on.

I also love how it says in the insert that Matt T. plays like 10 instruments on this CD.
