Title: Jesus Draw Me Close Tabbed By: Stephen Hale (khanphelan@geocities.com) Copyright: ??? This is more easily played (it sounds better, anyway...) finger-style. Use a classical hand position, it's easiest that way. G D Em C G D Jesus draw me close, closer Lord to You G D Em G D *1 Let the world around me fade away G D Em C G D Jesus draw me close, closer Lord to You C D Em D C *2 For I desire to worship and obey These are the hand positions, and the second time through (the way I prefer it) you should play these w/ your hand, just strumming. What you are doing basically is picking the bass note, then picking the , then high E, then the G string. (In the D formation, these are the 1st, 3rd, and then 5th of the chord.) To see this done in when you are playing a D, look at the first bar (the first section) of *1. The strings picked remain the same regardless of what chord you are playing. Then there are little riffs, where I have marked them on the chords, but they are just inserted into the tab. The bars are (I think) correctly placed, but I put them mostly to break down the riff, and show you how to play the song better. *1 e-----2---|--2-----|-----2----|------------------------------ b-------3-|----3---|-------3--|--3--------------------------- g---2-----|------2-|---2------|----2------------------------- d-0-------|--------|-0--------|------0----------------------- a------------ e------------ *2 e-----0---|---------------------------------- b-------1-|--1------------------------------- g---0-----|----0----------------------------- d---------|------2--------------------------- a-3-------|---------------------------------- e------- Write with any questions, or comments, ok?
