No, they really weren't. Over time, I came to realize what they were telling me was true: that there are better, more original bands out there in the Christian music industry and that I would much prefer a good, original rock band in the Christian industry than something that uncreatively imitates the sound of a secular band.
hey i saw your question about a christian alternative to nickelback (i was looking for one too!) those people were being rude. i love their style of music, and they have been my favorite band up until recently, when the lyrics started to bug me. there is no alternative to chad kroeger's voice in christian rock (which is what i was hoping for), but try skillet for a musical alternative. they're what i listen to when i want nickelback-style music without the vulgar lyrics. the guy's voice is a little bit different from chad's though, it's rougher and the girl background singers aren't as good as nickelback's background vocals. but i hoped i helped!
Sounds like a good plan. I actually went to high school with a girl who was born a year and a day after me. She was a hard worker though, and graduated the same year I did despite the one year difference in age.
hello David. Cool, my birthday was March 5th! I too am 23 years of age now. My fiance's birthday was on the 8th...he's now 24. Maybe we should get married in between the days...haha Anyways, it was nice "meeting" you.
