Regarding Ezekiel 38-39, no, I didn't get it from a source. It's probably shaped by my readings on the Prophets, but I can't be sure. It might come from Grant Osborne's lectures on Revelation. His commentary on the book (in the Baker Exegetical Commentary series) is my favorite on the book; Greg Beale's (in the New International Greek Testament Commentary series) is also excellent, and I may have seen something like it there. I don't remember what I used when I was working through Ezekiel apart from class notes, sorry
