Cool! I have Defense of the Faith because John mentioned it to me and said it was a good read.
I will be graduating in either the Fall of 2012, or Spring of 2013. Not sure yet. You will be in a bit longer because you are in an MDiv program, correct? Honestly, sometimes I wish I had gone that route. I tok 2 years of Greek and a year of Hebrew as an undergrad, but it would be nice to get some more formal training, like what you are doing.
Hey! Honestly, I haven't read too much of him lately. I had actually been reading more in William Lane Craig, lately. Quite a difference, especially when it comes to belief about the importance of apologetics and natural theology (speaking of that, I have also been reading some McGrath. He has a newish book out dealing with natural theology). The Molinistic outlook of Craig is pretty interesting, though, and he has some pretty good journal articles dealing with it.
What are you reading by Van Til?
Thanks J! Wish I wished you happy birthday too, but I don't really know how to check when it's somebody's birthday. Ha, yes I have been on the CGR for nearly ten years.
I'm tall proletarian with libertarian ideals and conservative values; a man who wishes he could have a beard and do an Irish accent; and a youth who looks forward to being elderly.
