| When is dc Talk gonna get back together?! Hey, this is a true dc fan who can't wait until Kevin, Toby, and Michael get back together again. Anything at all can be said about dc Talk in this post: comments, likes, dislikes, even answering the title question. And, their song Jesus Freak can be talked about just as much as the band.
I hope I get some real dc fans out there! I know I'm not the only one!
Check out the songs I've tabbed here and tell me what u think of them! There will definitely be more to come; and if u want to request that I tab a song, send me a PM. |

They are also one of the most popular Christian rock bands period, and they have helped countless people on the way. |

Now... to address your post...
My problem with dcTalk is that they spent most of their career making music that was, basically, laughable. I found their cheesy rap to be a detriment to Christianity.
That said, I loved the Jesus Freak album. Supernatural was also okay.
I think that their getting back together would be bad, because they make better music separately at this point than they do together.
How do you know what I have done for this world? How do you know what they have done for this world? Please, do not make claims that you can not substantiate. And please, refrain from belittling me again. |

Will the ever get back together? No. Impossible... K-Max Smith did too many drugs, got into crazy Eastern mysticism, and couldn't seem to keep his pants on around married women. Last I heard, the three are not talking. Plus, T-Mac - somehow - has become too popular in his solo career. They won't get back together... the Christian music industry does not work like that. A couple years from now, new Christian music fans will have no idea who dc Talk is/was... nor will they care. In my opinion, this is a good thing.

| This thread is crazy and will soon be closed, but I'll add my opinion anyway.
I think dc talk has done some good stuff. Jesus Freak and onwards was good. Good sounds, good harmonies. I'm not a fan of their older rapish stuff. Their solo careers have been pretty bad, especially Tait and Toby. Tait just isn't a very good bad, and Toby is utterly ridiculous. Kevin was interesting, and I like his first CD quite a bit.

i would pretty much have to agree with all that you have said
on top of that once a band breaks up and doesnt get back together for a while then it is best that they dont get back together, or at least that is my opinion |
