| Vocab, vocab, vocab!!! I found the math section pretty easy, and I hadn't had a math class in almost 4 years. But the verbal part kicked me in the butt. The analogies and synonym/antonym questions will kill you if you haven't reviewed your vocab in awhile. I have a pretty large vocabulary and there were some questions on the GRE that left me scratching my head and going, "Huh?"
As far as the analytical essays go, make sure you plot out what you want to write before you start. It's a lot easier than having to type and delete, type and delete. Trust me. I tried it both ways. Having an outline before you start typing is a much better option.
