| I lived in Texas for a semester. It wasn't bad, but nothing special. I much prefer Northern Georgia to anything Texas can offer and prefer southern California to Georgia by a slight margin.

| it is shocking to me that the "texans are full of themselves" option is winning! i mean we have state pride, but i don't look down on anyone from another state unless it's arkansas or oklahoma

And people down here are definitely full of themselves. Believe me, you are a Texas, then an American, and such order is never to be reversed.
I have lived in this hot, miserable place for 8 years and can't wait to get out. College in either Idaho or Tennessee, and the former is looking better as it is about twice as far away. |
thats cuz u live in austin...and austin is full of "full of themselves" jerks
despite road conditions and constant construction on major freeways...i think Dallas and Houston are two of the bestest cities in texas, yup yup. Only cuz i live in houston and heather lives near dallas, haha.
Austin has a pretty view but the times ive been there and driving through people have been JERKS.
I do like Georgia and Minnesota as well though |

| I really couldnt say enough bad things about texas... honestly..
First of all, I wish they did split from the union and go back to mexico back in the day... or was it mexico wanted it back so bad they went to war? Either way... wish they were gone...
Texas pride? There is nothing to be proud of, having spent time in mostly dallas, I was underwhelmed by the 'culture' (you mean hacking the english language to pieces with an accent thats worse than fingernails on a chalkboard?) and just about everything about it. When you spawn visions of cowboys and oil and glorify high school football higher than any sport, you have nothing to offer this guy. Texas blows.
Texas was always proud of bieng the biggest state... then they were proved wrong.
If texas is so great, why in the 90s did a huge influx of texans arrive in Colorado? I swear, it was like the plague for a while there... |

It's kind of like I think any country is better than France. It's just an opinion... there's no need to be upset out it. (not saying you are, but for those who are)
