Lightbulb Counterfeit gods and the Truth

I've got a friend, a good friend, who doesn't share my particular religous views. He's a good guy--compassionate, honest, caring, and Pagan. For years I have shared with him the Truth of Jesus Christ and he refuses to believe. All I can keep on doing is believing, praying, and trusting in God's plan.

In his disbelief my certainty has grown stronger--do you understand? The counterfeit only makes the genuine more valuable.

Cubic Zirconia is good enough until you see a real diamond. The false makes the truth shine brighter. The falsness of the 'religion' my friend has been feeding on has only made the truth of the Lord shine brighter. If Christ is a glittering diamond, then the world apart from Him is a cubic zirconia; weak, flawed, cheap.

Daniel 12:3
"Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever."
