k... never relaly used a forum b4... so not sure wat to do *laughs at slef and shrugs* .... soo... sumbody ^^ said (not sure how to make this a quote soo...)

"Well, if you play guitar or bass, it helps alot with chord switches. Very hard to play by ear if you don't know one, any chords or two when to switch chords. Very hard to do."

personally.. i don't think that's ture... i'm learning bass cuz i can play the piano!! and when i do learn things by ear i'll figure it out on the piano then try it on the bass!!! most songs are built on the tonic chord (the signature chord) the 5th the 4th and the minor (the minor is always the 6th) so if u can figure out wat key its in then its not hard from there!!!! its those main chords in w/e order!!! so that's all i do in the left hand part!! its way easy that way!! but if u dont' kno chords... that prolly didn't help!!!
