I'm just now getting into Sufjan Stevens, what album would you guys recommend? I was thinking about getting Illinois, would this be a good first album?

Probably, as long as you ignore the stupid song titles and realise it's full of filler instrumentals you should love it.

I personally love the silly long song names, admittedly they are pointless, but yeah amongst the filler there is some awesome stuff on Illinois. I always think if Sufjan made it so there was no filler at all, the album would be outstanding!

Yeah, there's a band named Fuel that was one of the early screamo bands, along with Antioch Arrow, Heroin, etc.
