You know what I don't get? People who complain about Coheed and Cambria's singer being whiney and then listen to Circa Survive.

I've been listening to:
The Jolly Rogers
Sigur Ros
The Decemberists
Belle and Sebastian
Elliott Smith

I haven't listened to anything new in quite a while.

No kidding. Saw them live opening for Mae and I couldn't stand the lead singer. Not just his voice, but his entire demeanor. No stage presence whatsoever...

I listened to some music today:
Gatsby's American Dream - Volcano
Beck - Midnite Vultures
Death Cab For Cutie - Plans
Coheed & Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
The Beta Band - From Heroes to Zeroes

I've heard from multiple people that he is pretty arrogant.

Skeeter, what is the best Luxury album?

Not just arrogant, but slimy. I sincerely doubt they made any new fans at that show and they might have lost a few.

Their self-titled that came out on Bulletproof. It holds a lot of personal significance for me. Their new album, Health and Sport, is certainly fantastic, but I don't think I will ever have the connection to it that I have with their self-titled.

In fact, I'm going to listen to it now.

Well, I liked Saosin when he was in there so I'm probably just used to his voice.

I will pick it up soon. I was just looking at your sig and felt like listening to mewithoutyou. I wish I lived in New Jersey right now, they are doing two shows, one with Converge and the other with Circle Takes The Square. Thursday will also be at both shows. I can't believe you guys have so many shows like this.

EDIT: @ Skeeter

I want to go to one of those shows so bad but they're too far away.

I love Saosin/Circa Survive/The Sound of Animals Fighting. I liked Circa Survive's set when I saw them at Warped Tour.

Circa Survive might be alright in a larger setting, but in a club, the lead singer was infuriating.

I've been listening to Queens of the Stone Age all day.

I've been checking out a bunch of good stuff on Second Nature Recordings.

I especially like These Arms are Snakes, The Blood Brothers, and Ox. I love Rocky Votolato's voice, and Old Canes made me want to listen to Zippy Josh and the Rag Tag Band, but purevolume and myspace are both down right now... Conspiracy!
