I just checked out Orchid and they're crazy. I've also been listening to the Mahavishnu Orchestra and some Al DiMeola.

I've just been pulling out random CDs lately. Most recently Weezer's blue album, The Get Up Kids' "Guilt Show", and Straylight Run's self-titled debut. I've also been listening to Ben Folds' new single (Landed).

Yes' "Relayer" is in my car right now. As far as secular is concerned, that's pretty much all I'm digging right now. I'm also listening to a LOT of Jazz and Anberlin's newest, as well as some older CDs of mine just for kicks.

Some random J-Pop and J-Rock, mostly by Dir en grey and Gackt.

Some excellent stuff here. Too bad they don't sell it in America.

What is the point of having a Secular Music forum? Really?

The idea is that there's no need to have the same thread in two forums. For instance, there is already a "What is the last thing you ate?" thread in the Food forum. If someone started a similar thread in GD, it would be closed. Same deal here.

And the point of this forum is to discuss bands that don't fit under the "Christian artists" category. People would pitch a fit if they found Korn in the same forum as Kutless.

Begin posting again. I shouldn't have closed this.

Today I've been listening to Damien Rice - O and a bit of Pink Floyd.

I love Darla. It's such a quirky little song..not to mention the turn-tabled chicken sounds.
