The new Charlie Louvin.

It features everyone from Jeff Tweedy to Elvis Costello with one of the last remaining gods of the early pop/country of the 50s.

That sounds like good.

I'm listening to Pelican, Idaho, Kayo Dot and a bit of Joanna Newsom.

Philip Glass is a great composer. I really enjoyed his work in the Qatsi films.

I've listened to the first seven Rush albums over the past couple of days.

I love what I have of his work. Not that I'm overly familiar with modern classical, but he's definitely my favourite modern composer.

Yeah, I haven't really delved into modern classical stuff, but I found him and love it. He's not even really modern classical in my opinion. That seems like a contradiction anyway. Classical refers to a past time period, so there really is no 'modern classical'. But in a broader sense of the term even I wouldn't place Glass. He's more a minimalist style American composer. Anyway, I'm just thinking out loud..

I've a' been a' listenin' to:

Well, now I'm listening to 'The Hours' soundtrack, composed by Phillip Glass.
but..
