Doug Martsch does indeed own. I need to get a Built to Spill album other than Perfect From Now On.

Check out his band Butterfly Train too. It was his band before Built to Spill. They are enjoyable.

I have Keep it Like a Secret. It's amazing, just for the sheer fact that they can do that style of music so well in the studio. I also have a live bootleg, which I think is just a promotional CD which I highly recommend.

To be honest, I'm really itching for them to tour over here. A band of their size shouldn't have a problem getting over, so I hope they do at some point this year. Today I've been listening to;

Dinosaur Jr.
Do Make Say Think
Team Strike Force
Interpol

Joan of Arc - How Memory Works

This is so much better than I had previously thought it was. It's near perfect.

I'd mark it as Tim Kinsella's highest achievement. It mixed art and rock like no other.

I think my favourite part is the last song where it changes really quickly from the previous song and you think it's going to be some silly little thing and it ends up being the most beautiful song on the album.
