dudes... i heard this band called The Pattern's End a few weekends ago and they totally rocked the place out... all the old people left in a hurry... but funny thing is they weren't even hard core
the lead guitarist is like 19 and already sounding better than most main-stream musicians... he actually reminds me alot of Stevie Ray Vaughn...and the singer played the Bass(which totally throws off "Tradition")anywayz it was an inspiration to hear a good group of musicians praising God

Ah, nice.

We've been playing some of Miles and Coltrane at the beginning of our worship services, because we have been doing a series called "Blue Like Jazz" (a great book by Donald Miller).

Well, the subtitle is "Nonreligious thoughts on Christian spirituality." It's kind of like a non-right wing non-Republican non-George W. Bush lover view of faith.

Sounds interesting, I may check it out.

Last night I had a late night study session and listened to "Pinkerton". Now I'm listening to it again. I think I like the first half more than the second.

Lately I have been listening to Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile and With Teeth, Regina Spektor's Soviet Kitsch, Death Cab for Cutie's...well, everything, A Perfect Circle's Thirteenth Step and Mer de Noms, and Iron & Wine's Our Endless Numbered Days. I broke out Incubus' Make Yourself the other day for the first time in a while, too. And at the moment, I'm listening to the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness playlist Meatfufinger posted in the Smashing Pumpkins thread. This is the first time I've listened to the Pumpkins in ages. I've been breaking out Tool's ∆nima every now and then, too.
