The thing with them is that vocals are generally used pretty sparingly, but I'd say that the normal vocals appear a lot more than the harsh vocals.

My advice is to check out the other two Choirs of the Eye songs that you can download from their website. Wayfarer, from what I remember, has very little, if any screaming/growling. The Manifold Curiosity has a bit, but the piccolo solo that comes in about 5 minutes into the song is beautiful beyond words.
