Me too! I've contacted Big Idea / VeggieTales two years in a row asking them to produce the accompaniment... no luck so far.

I found some chords for Hope's Song but they're all inaccurate, i'm still trying to find some chords that actually match the song. I'll let you know when i find anything.

I've looked around a bit also but haven't found anything.

It is very easy to figure out though. It's basically a couple of standard C chord progressions. (I was just playing with it yesterday)

I'm fairly bad at attempting to explain what I'm doing on my guitar, but here's my attempt at an explanation...

My appoligies if it makes no sense.

Thinking about the song in terms of 'sections'.....

For the first intro section it's C for the first couple of lines (play around with dropping your middle finger on the chord), the F-C-Am, F (then drop middle finger) - G

Then the transition between sections is esentially Bb - F (full bar chord) - C, Bb - F (full bar chord), G

After the intro and transition,

There's two more sections, then played again with different words ending with 'He died on a tree'.

It's not exactly correct, but the way I decided to play these sections is basically this:
(The lines of chords match up with the lines on the lyrics: http://www.stlyrics.com/songs/r/rebe...ong557254.html)

Section starting with 'Well the years.....'
C-Am-G-C
C-Am-G
F-C-Am
C-Am-G

transition

Then starting with 'He was born....'
F-G-C
F-G-C
F-G-Am
F-F (drop middle finger) - Dm7 - G

I'm afraid that may just look like a lot of jibberish. Like I said though, it's in C using some standard progressions.

Now, I'm also adding a lot of filler and fluf in there lots of places to create something that I like and that's fun to play.

Give it a try! Tune up your guitar with a tuner and play along with the recording on the video. It's actually a very easy song, and it's pretty easy to 'fancy it up' a bit.

I hope that helps,

Rob
