Well thats stupid. If you want an artist that has musical and lyrical talent and has passion for God than your choice could be Supertones. |

I really don't care for ska much, and I really can't stand Christian rap. It always sounds silly to me - rap isn't my thing anyways, and neither is ska.

SORRY | Again, soldier4mojo, with the use of the "h" word. We do not, I repeat, do NOT use that word (or any of its cousins, for that matter) to ostracize anyone on these boards. You've already been warned about that. Stop with the namecalling already. You won't prove anything by acting immature.
And as has already been said, not everyone shares the same musical tastes. Some people like rock, some rap, some country, etc. Just because one person is not crazy about a particular band does not make them a heathen or insane or anything else. It means they are not the same as you, and that's it. Life would be incredibly boring and monotonous if we were all the same.
Please feel free to discuss musical tastes and such, but do NOT call anyone names or put them down. We can have discussions about things we like and things we don't, but that doesn't mean that people are not entitled to have different opinions than you.

| Look, I love the Supertones more than most people ever will, but man, please stop speaking ignorantly.
Also... Queer is the proper word you're looking for for your last post there. Not gay. |

I could have said much more in this post, but the Bible talks about holding your tongue a helluvalot more than it does about alcohol being sinful. Because the Bible doesn't say that alcohol is sinful.
Furthermore, "gay" =/= odd or strange. Never use it in that way again. |

James 1:19My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Quote: |

Yep - we do not call people gay or fag or homo or queer or anything else like that on these boards. I feel like I'm talking to a seven-year-old, because I've repeatedly addressed this issue with you, and you've continued to use those terms. "Gay" is not a synonym for "weird." It is a derogatory term, like if you were to come up to my mom and call her a "chink" because she is Chinese. It is offensive and childish to use that language, similar to cussing like a sailor.
The administration here at CGR has already made decisions about this language in the moderator's forum. To quote Rachell, one of the supermods, Quote: |

Romans 13:1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
This is why it seems like I'm coming down so hard on you. Because I have told you about this rule, and you are still violating it. Please stop or further action may be taken. This is warning number two.

| it's a gay day wouldn't you say.I disagre with alot of catholic teachings.About beer, its a touchy issue.when I see people in a bar, every christian friend I have would agree, that you wouldn't thimk of them as church going people.Drinking is not evil, but when you see someone with a beer you wouldnt think of them as being church going people. And as much as you disagree, this is the case. You need to have common sense which alot of people lack, cause when you see a drunk person, the last thing you would think them to be. I have people in my family who drink and there christians,so im not saying christians who drink are evil its just.....................well you get the point(I hope). |
