Ok, this may be silly having two different threads for such similar instruments...... but there's more of a difference than people would think. Sooo.... this thread is for all you pianists out there. Maybe just post your favorite song, or why you prefer playing piano over keyboard, or who your favorite pianist is.... just something to let us know that you're out there!!!


Anyway... although I play mostly keyboard, I also play piano a lot. My church has a Baldwin 9 foot grand that is simply a joy to play. Whenever I get the chance, I take some time either before or after church to go play it. It's awesome!! I still enjoy playing keyboard more though.... go figure.

I'm not sure what I would classify myself as. I play keyboard with my church band occationally. But I enjoy just paying around with the piano and writing songs. AND- I play guitar, so I'm just pretty much really versital.
