I don't know if many of you keep up with the cartoon comic shows, but I wanted to know if anyone's seen the new batman? I think it makes Batman look like a little fairy. But it has made some villians look sweet.

I don't care for it. I think the overtop East/West animation mix just doesn't fit the Dark Knight as well. And given the fact an amazing Bruce Timm Batman is still on the air, it looks lame by comparison.

You know, the episode of Cowboy Bebop that was on last Saturday ("Session 20: Peirrot Le Fou") was a tribute to the Timm's Batman: The Animated Series. Much fun.

The prevalent darkness was also reminiscent of B:TAS.
