Love it!! I do that all the time as I'm always in a hurry... Most of my classes are across campus so I have to book between classes...

Which brings me to all the "Slow-group-walkers" I think there shoule be lanes on walkways, like there are on roads... Slow people keep right or something!!

My school (Montreat College) is so small that I recognize almost every student and know his or her name, so the social dynamics are often pretty entertaining. Considering we're in the South, you basically expect literally everyone to at least say hi.

if you don't know the person...

* Stare at them and then smile and wave as if you know them. Maybe even call them by some random name that is probably not their own.

* (in close quarters) Make it difficult for them to pass. Of course you have to pretend that its an accident.

* Pick your nose.

If you do know the person...

Always make eye contact whether you know them or not. It proves that youre desperate.
