| I really love the Dani Ross Mysteries, especially the first one called One By One Link
They have both the new, revised edition and the old originals in my church library, I have read both. I think I'm gonna re-read them this summer! :-D Go to the bottom of the page Guilt By Association was the original title of the one now called One By One This site shows all the original titles.

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind
The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis
I really like those books. I am through the Wheel of Time series and I am in the 7th book of Terry Goodkinds series. I am on the 3rd book of C S Lewis's books. All really good and I recommend them.

| A revision of my post from the first page.
1. The Bible.
2. Greg Bahnsen, Van Til's Apologetic.
3. Greg Bahnsen, Theonomy in Christian Ethics.
4. John Calvin, Institutes of the Christian Religion.
Fifth place would be a tie amongst many a book. |

I guess I only read halfway before getting discouraged by it - there's no Scripture! Don Miller tells me all these hippy stories and tells me specifically what I should believe about God without once resting on the authority of Scripture. So, in essence, him telling what is true about God is pretty empty. He even admits many times to have trouble reading the Bible. But rather than encourage us to do so, he doesn't even reference the Bible in the half I read -and he covered some major topics of belief.
Also, he comes across as pretty arrogant. He makes some rude backhand comments about apologists and theologians. |

The book is sub-titled "Non-Religious thoughts on Christian Spirituality" So I wasn't surprised not to see much scripture reference. I am reading the book now and am just about done with it. I have enjoyed it alot myself.
My 2 favorites for Christian Non-Fiction would have to be...
1)Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
2)Waking The Dead by John Eldridge. |
