I have more favorite authors than I do books.

Well, time for yet another spin at this. My book/author favoritisms have swung aroung since last time we had one of these threads.

My favorite author, just because of the depth of charaacter development and research he put into his books, Arthur Hailey.

I also like Chrichton's books, but I feel his plots have suffered as of late, though I do like his underlying themes.

As for the proverbial Lewis posts, I'll get that out of the way now. I liked Till We Have Faces and the Space Trilogy.

I'm sure there are more, but I don't feel like posting them because I'm tired, and posting too many might turn this into a book vs. book or author vs. author thread, which would make all of our loverly mods (very lovely ) mad and they might shut this thread down.

Anyway, those listed above are some of my favorite authors.
