| slick shoes and sick of change are great. There is a very tiny amount of screaming in both, as there is with mxpx as well. In sick of change the phrase "I am weak" is screamed once... I believe on the burn out album by slick shoes there may be one or two as well.
Too bad Eugene's first album, Craig's Brother 's s/t, and perhaps hangnail's s/t might be what you are looking for as well. I cannot guarantee all these are 100% scream free, but all are melodic punk.
Granted these are punk, not reliant k-esque bubblegum pop. Reliant K is not punk. i am sugesting melodic punk as you asked, but it is far higher quality than reliant k, and also punk. Ghoti hook's sumo surprise might be exactly what you are looking for.

| Switchfoot = old stuff good. Great, actually. Switchfoot = new overrated also. OK.
I'll give you a cookie if you can understand me.

My favourite album is 'A new way to be human'. It has to be said that their latest album is a lot louder, more 'heavy' rock. Which is what is requested here. |
