| If you KNOW that a relationship will pull you away from God right now or mess you up with your college stuff you shouldn't start dating, but if you don't think it will bother you then it wouldn't hurt to get to know her better and then consider dating her. I say get to know her better because you said that you had just started UV. |

There's nothing wrong with dating in University. Just don't be stupid. |

What would Jesus do | More often than not your dating life will tend to pull you away from God. Then again so do school and work and most everything out there. I'm neither advocating that you just go for it nor am I advocating straight out not to. Just warning you that either way, your faith is going to require you to work at it and discipline yourself into making it happen.
If you're not sure about the girl just get to know her to begin with. Rushing into a relationship is like diving into a mud puddle. You're more than likely going to get hurt in the process.
And if you really just want to follow Jesus' example on this one, you'd forget about girls and dedicate your life to the ministry. \(^_^)/

| On the other hand, college is one of the best chances to meet someone of your compatible interests and personality. |

Id be cautious. It was not that long ago you were really struggling with desire for the married girl you had loved...
I would encourage you to take some more time to make sure you are fully over that.
