That's what I'm buying in about 1 1/2 weeks..
My friend has that same one. I've played it quite a few times. It's prety good but it wasn;t right for me. It felt ackward. The pickups are too thin to stick your thumb on, and the strings are to high above the fret board for my tastes.

Also, i got this thing against four string basses

But it's till a good bass though... you could definitely do worse.

A setup is usually done...not too hard as long as you don't screw it up and overdo it, and as for the pickups you could raise them...

nevermind, went with gig bag because if worst came to worst i could use my other case...and $40 is a little overkill for the difference when i can probably get one for like $50 around here anyways...

$176.66 for the QMD 62 in 3TS witha gig bag...hope its as good as they say it is

Alrite, just got home and messed with it for a bit...got it today, 2 day shipping, not bad...

And I'm really suprised at one thing...IT DOESNT NEED A SETUP! Or at least thats how it is for me...no sharp frets and none sticking up, intonation seems pretty good (i'll check it tomorrow with my friend's Boss tuner at church tomorow) and the action is pretty low. The photo qu8ilt looks beautiful, and I don't think I could tell without say, something like a magnifying glass.

Don't know much about jazz basses, so I get a buzz when I turn the third knob (I'm guessing its a tone knob) which causes noise (steady buzz/hum) but it sounds fine with it all the way down...and I'll probalby do the shielding sooner or later.

All in all, I'm definatley one happy customer

Come to think of it, I just realized its not a pearloid pickguard...its just plain white. Gonna send an email off to Kurt...

There are a few simple ways to help stop the buzz you're expirencing.

First, are all three knobs up? If the first two aren't, you're always going to get buzz because Jazz p'ups are single coils.

Second, are you anywhere near florusent lamps? They cause chaos on pickups.

Finally, have you tried flipping the "ground' switch on your amp? This may help.

Congrats on the purchase. Rondo sell great stuff for awesomly low prices.

Lets see...I balanced out the first 2 knobs (and even tried turnin em up all the way) and still got that buzz...don't think i'm anywhere near florusent lamps, and I dont think theres a ground switch on my amp...only switches on it that i can think of are power, active/passive and brightness...

but thanks

A computer monitor will have the same effect, so if you're sitting in front of yours it will buzz then, too.
