Atlanta-based pop/rock band, EXIT>EAST, the most recent addition to Fervent Record's roster (Big Daddy Weave, BarlowGirl and By The Tree), release their self-titled debut today amidst acclaim.
Here is what the critics are saying about EXIT>EAST.
"…Exit East has succeeded where so many others fail: finding their own creative identity. The album is full of innovative song structure and well-crafted musical energy…" –Worship Leader Magazine
"God's mercy and power permeate the album, and its songs are constructed on the bedrock of His goodness and sovereignty." –Plugged In Magazine
"A solid debut. Lead singer Jason Foust particularly shines with a powerful, right-as-rain baritone-tenor vocal. The Atlanta-based quartet easily mixes guitar-based pop and rock with excellent harmonies and Christ-centered words. The production on both rockers and ballads is also quite good. Keep your ears peeled for Exit East." –Youthworker Journal
"Simply put, if you're a Christian who really likes the pop/rock of Matchbox Twenty and Train, this band's for you." – ChristianityToday.com
Momentum for EXIT>EAST continues to grow as they prepare to head out on the road with label mates Big Daddy Weave and Ardent Records' Todd Agnew for the 20-plus city Absolute Worship Tour this February and March. The tour supports the latest installation of the Absolute series, Absolute Modern Worship, which releases Jan. 25 and features EXIT>EAST's current single, All Of This. The single is also currently listed as New & Active on the AC Indicator chart and gaining ground at CHR radio formats, currently #21 and climbing (R & R). EXIT>EAST's The Way You Are will be serviced to Rock radio Jan. 21.
