| Does ANYONE know...... Does anyone know anything on the history of the Bathtub? I have a research paper due. And I can't find anything on the internet about the bathtub. i due know that is was made in the 1840's. So if anyone knows anything please let me know.

| bathtub or baths in general? If you look up Roman baths (which included bathtubs I think) that would make for a very interesting project just because of all the social and technological issues surrounding them. |

| try looking for information about "claw foot" tubs. That might produce more results. As far as i remember, the first modern bathtubs (i.e. with plumbing, and not made of wood) were all cast-iron, covered in porcelain and given claw-feet.
