Point Of Grace To Headline Spring 2005 I CHOOSE YOU Tour

Platinum selling and renowned pop sensation Point Of Grace announces its spring 2005 "I Choose You Tour" with special guests Scott Krippayne and Charity Von.

Launching February 3 in Woodbridge, VA and visiting 30 cities across the United States through April, the Point Of Grace headline tour will support the critically acclaimed fall release, I Choose You, the girls' first full studio project in three years. Like the album, the concerts will showcase a reenergized sound as well as new member Leigh Cappillino, former Truth vocalist and worship leader for Women of Faith conferences who replaced original member Terry Jones last spring. In addition to songs from I Choose You, Point Of Grace will perform favorites from a repertoire of classic hits. The evening will not only spotlight Point Of Grace, Krippayne and Von individually, but will further feature the three artists interacting musically.

"We have seen such a great response to the 'I Choose You Tour' with Point Of Grace, Scott Krippayne and Charity Von," says booking agent David Breen of The Breen Agency. "After taking time off from touring to launch Point Of Grace's Girls of Grace Conferences, there is so much pent up demand for the girls that the tour dates sold in quickly. We expect a great turnout this spring and the fans are in for a great night with an incredible lineup."

Currently joining Michael W. Smith on his 19-city "Christmastime Tour," Point Of Grace will further embark on a weeklong Eastern Caribbean trip performing aboard the "Kathy Troccoli and Friends Cruise 2005" in January. With two Grammy nominations, multiple Dove Awards and 24 consecutive No. 1 radio singles throughout a history spanning 10 highly successful albums in 12 years, Point Of Grace has garnered major national media exposure including The View with Barbara Walters, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, Time Magazine, CNN, Worldbeat, CNN Showbiz, Prime/Time Live, Ladies' Home Journal, Billboard, Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee, VH-1, CBS This Morning and, ABC World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, among others. Joining the tour is Spring Hill Music's acclaimed singer/songwriter Scott Krippayne. Releasing his sixth studio album, Gentle Revolution, January 25, Krippayne's anticipated project brings to light a level of artistry previously untapped from this multi-talented musician with its driving rhythms and guitar-based melodies. Krippayne, whose accolades include penning 16 No. 1 hits, being named the No. 1 Christian Artist of the Year for American Songwriter Magazine (1996) and garnering several Dove nominations, to name a few, has also written songs for such well-known artists as Avalon, John Tesh, Jaci Velásquez, FFH and Sandi Patty. His song, "It Wouldn't Be Christmas Without You," recorded by Tesh, reached the top 10 on mainstream AC radio. Krippayne further co-wrote two songs, "Do It Again" and "God Is In It," for Point Of Grace's I Choose You. New artist Charity Von released her self-titled debut pop/rock project on Slanted Records in the fall of 2004 to great critical acclaim.

ChristianityToday.com named her one of the top new artists of 2004, saying, "her amazing voice is off to a great start on this diverse and well-produced debut," while Hybrid Magazine stated, "Charity's voice is full of incredible depth, her semi-gravelly alto resplendent with character and emotion." One of the cuts from Charity Von, "The Narrow," was recently featured on the CBS hit drama "Joan of Arcadia." This 19-year-old daughter of a pastor from Kansas City, Kansas, has been singing and writing most of her life.
