How come you need a song with only three chords in it? 3 chords isn't a whole lot to work with. But Take My Life/Holiness has only 3 chords.

No it doesn't. It has G, C, D, Em, and Am.

Sweep Me Away only has 1 chord (2 if you want, 3 if you're desperate)
I think Every Move I Make might only have 3? I could be wrong...
You Alone - David Crowder
What A Friend I've Found (I think?)
I think Wind Song does
I Can Only Imagine

Cause i just what to start out with 3 chord songs & then build up & up cause i'm just a beginner. & it sometimes overwhelms me.
It has to christian . i don't care if its a worship song or not.

4 chords isn't that much of a leap...but there's certainly a heck of a lot more songs you can play with 4 chords than you can play with 3. Give it a try.

You name it, and you probably can. It would be a lot easier if you posted a list of some songs, and we could tell you how many chords they have. But other than that, there's such a huge amount of songs with 4 chords in them, I wouldn't even attempt a list.

I think Lord I Lift Your Name on High only has 3 chords... all easy ones too. G C D C oh wait... it has an Em. that's not to bad..

That's all I can think of right now...

Actually it does only have G, C, and D. Sweep Me Away is by far the simplest song that I have ever seen. What A Friend I Found has I think 5 or 6 chords, and the verse/intro progression might be a bit challenging for a beginner.

By far the easiest worship song I know of is "Invitacion Fountain" by Violet Burning. It's essentially nothing more than every beginning Christian guitarist's favorite two chords, G and Cadd9, and it's a beautiful sounding song too.

This is the song that I've been recommending to new guitarists as a good first song to learn. If you haven't heard it before, you can get it from iTunes for $0.99. Even if you don't wind up learning to play it, it's pretty nice to listen to.

I've never heard of it. Sounds cool though.
