Question

Just wondering who all has seen the movie version of "Left Behind" and, if you saw it, what is your review of it? I haven't seen it yet, but probably will VERY soon. I'm interested in hearing other people's opinions about the movie.

IHPL,
Kelly

Good thread idea!!! I was halfway through the sixth book when my blind thing happened, so I'm really peeved about not knowing what happened, and that I have forgotten a lot of what already has. I'll have to wait for Left Behind to reach blockbuster, but I'd also love to hear some opinions on it!

Actually, you might want to go ahead and check Blockbuster, Shy, because in this case the DVD and video came out before the movie did. If you can't find it at Blockbuster for rent, you could probably buy a copy rather inexpensively at Sam's, CostCo, or some place like that...if not, then at Wal-Mart or Target.

Hey, great, thanks Kelly! Actualy, though, I'll have to check Amazon first. Cant exactly hop in the car and speed over to Wal-Mart We have a little system set up to hit blockbuster and fast food joints, but nothing is in place to get big stuff yet. Thanks though!

Sorry about that, Shy. But, I checked Amazon and CDNow and both have the VHS of "Left Behind" for $26.99 (plus s/h). I'm looking forward to your review of the movie.

Thumbs up

It was a good movie. I have seen it twice. I was surprised to see Kirk in it beacause it is not a comedy movie. But out of a ten rating I give it an eight.Great Movie though.I highly recommend it to everyone!

I'm actuallly not surprised to see Kirk Cameron in the movie because he is an avid Christian...so is his sister Candace who used to play on "Full House." I take it that they had an awesome upbringing to be so strong in their faith and be in the business they are in, but that's just my take on it.

I took my little brother (in Christ of course) to go watch the movie. He and I both liked the fact that it was a Christian (or religious for that matter) movie in the mainstream scene.

As for the movie, we both enjoyed it. Outta the 10 rating, it's a strong 8.

I love the books, but didn't like the movie much. I applaud them, though, and am definitely going to go see it in the theater to support them. For the amount of money they had for production, I guess they did a pretty darn good job with what they had. Definitely better than the "Omega Code", which I HATED (as did all of the friends I went and saw it with).

It's just awesome to finally see christians out there competing with Hollywood and doing a great job. I pray that there are more movies to discuss like this very soon.

Just in the little bit of research I did just now, I could not find any box office stats, but I'll keep looking. If anyone finds out, please post it if you don't mind.

I have read the first two books of the series and loved them! I am hoping to get hold of the third soon.
I live in England, so I don't think its out over here, for a little while longer! I can't wait!

Exclamation Left Behind.

On the issue of the movie 'Left Behind', I would like to disagree with what the movie is totally about. I must tell you that I love the Lord and I would like to enlighten the topic a bit. Please refer to the following web-page to see a different angle of what is going to happen when the Lord comes! Of course, all the information is biblical on the site, where some of the issues in the movie are not biblical. Let me know what you all think.

Thanks.
