There were some awful movies in the late '70's, early '80's that didn't have to do anything with the end times - movies like:

SuperChristian
Kevin Can Wait
An Ordinary Guy

I remember watching them in youth group at our "Afterglow" nights, and thinking, "This is crap."

There was the TNT movies (They may have been mini-series). There was one about David and Joseph and I think there was on Jesus. They were actually good.

the ones on Jesus and Samson were very poorly done, very off in scriptural truths. but the ones abraham, Joseph, and David were very well done

It would be great if at least one Jesus in the bazillion movies made about him would actually look like he's from the Middle East, not from Sandusky, Ohio (and I don't know why I picked that town - it just came to me). :kgrin:

Funny - that town has one of the largest foreign-born populations in Ohio (during the summer, anyway). It's home to Cedar Point, which is staffed largely by foreign nationals.

Like I said, I just randomly picked that city. Wasn't the movie Tommy Boy about Sandusky?
