Venting

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where people could vent their frustrations with planning for the big day.

My frustration is trying to find a wedding venue/reception that doesn't over book us, or try and mil us for all the money we have. Also trying to find a venue thats available on the day we want to get married.

It looks like we may have to move our wedding date back one month

My frustration is that my girlfriend of 2 years and I have to wait 3 more years because we both have to be out of college before we're married or else we pay for college. (I could afford mine but not quite her private school)

Mine is that my rents have one date in mind and Rob and I have another. Like the rents want me to finish uni. I don't hink it'll be a prob. So much sympathy SamR.

Seems like this is a good place to vent....so here goes:

I want to get married now but I don't feel like either me or my girlfriend are ready for a commitment of that level.

I was going to propose to her on our 2 year anniversary (of dating) last year and my parents didn't feel like it was the right time. They want me to wait until I'm out of college.

Well there's another downer. I just had to quit college because I couldn't afford where I was going and some other things got screwed up there buy that's another story. Now I'm still 6000 dollars in debt to that school.

Me and Mandy are 5 hours apart and that just things even peachier. She's in college and I'm not. That really tears me up on the inside but that's another story.

Well I really appreciate you opening up this thread. I wish I could say that i felt better but it's just brought everything back up to the surface.

Everything is going to work out though. GOD is in control. That's all that matters.
