Ugh, not only did I write the progression wrong last night but I wrote the wrong notes.. sheesh.. that's waht I get for being up so late. Anyways.. I didn't mean to write A7, i meant to write Am7... so...

D-Am7-C-Em

The Am7 is almost the same as the C, but with a different root note. Does this still seem like mixolydian?

Yes, D Mixolydian, to be specific. Almost beyond question. If, however, another part of the song moves into the realm of G... then you could probably consider the whole thing to be in G major.
