Yamaha BB300 Defretted and added Jazz pup at bridge position

I have an old maple-fingerboard J bass. Had it >20 years, I think it's pre-CBS, but the neck is a little weird - it just says 'Fender', without the 'Jazz', etc. Someday I'll find out either it's a fake, or incredibly valuable.

I recently acquired a Warwick Fortress One 5 string fretless. It is totally sweet - active p-ups are excellent, when I turn up the bass, it gets turned up Fretless wasn't as bad to get used to as I thought it would be.

I can't believe that I forgot this - I also have a 10 string ironwood Chapman Stick. It's a great instrument for Let It Rise, amongst other tunes, and I get a lot of questions/comments about it when I use it in church.

I really only use the 5 bass strings, done very little fiddling around with the guitar strings.

You make me drool.

My dads old bassist Fergus Marsh played one. He rocks with a capital Q.
