| Calloused hands, and a calloused heart. Well, I decided to start my own journal. I've been lurking around in the shadows of CGR for a couple of years, thought its about time I gave back to the community. And it gives everyone a chance to get to know me.(If they want to ) Well, its after midnight here so I think I'll go hit my treadmill for a couple of miles and then go to bed. More later I guess.

| Hmm, lets see, some introductions I guess. My name is Timothy and I am 20 years old. Everyone calls me Tim, or cueball, or uncle fester, or tiny tim, or scooter, as those are my nicknames. Actually no one calls me cueball or uncle fester anymore because I have hair. And since I'm now over six feet tall no one is allowed to call me "Timmy." Unless your a single female between the ages of 18 and 24.
For the moment I live in Louisiana, but I am moving to Sacramento California in the end of January. I grew up on the West coast so I am happy to be going back.
I play guitar and some rudimentary bass. I love all kinds of music, but rock from the seventies and eighties is my favorite. Zeppelin, AC/DC, Ozzie, Petra, those types.
I love classic cars and right now I am trying to restore a 1970 mustang. Its pretty slow going right now, as I have no job and very little mechanical skill. But I'm hoping to get more work on it done after I move. I have a friend in Cali whos a good mechanic, and I'm planning on getting a job after I move.
I guess thats all for now, I have to go and pack some stuff for my parents. If there's anything you want to know, just ask. I'm usually an honest and forthright person, but no garauntees.

| This weekend my family finished packing our stuff so that we'll be ready to go in a couple weeks. Today was pretty good, Football and a 2 foot sub sandwich. I can't wait to get moved, one of my best friends lives like thirty miles from our new place, so I'll get to see him for the first time in about a year. Well nothing much else went on today so I guess thats the end.

| Nice to meet you too Sarah. And thanks for postin in my blog. It is pretty nice here now, but man in the summer its horrible. I'm used to the California sun; when its 101 degrees in Cali, its 101 degrees. But here in Louisiana when you tack on the humidity as well, the heat index goes to like 120 something. How's the weather in Michigan? Besides cold. Lotsa snow or what?
Oh and congrats on your 18th. You'll finaly be able to do all those wonderful things like........vote........and........buy cigarettes........yeah those are like the only things that I can think of that you can do after you turn 18 that you can't do before.
Anyway thanks again for posting. Your welcome to anytime.

| Hey, how's it goin? Ok, the weather in MI is so crazy. At Christmas, we had at least a foot of snow, then it all melted in like a day. Then, it snowed so hard that like 400 schools in the state were closed (of course not mine , but my boyfriend's was). So now, it's just cold and snowy. But in the summer, it's uber hot and humid b/c I live by the water. Some times I think I was meant to live in Hawaii. :-)
So, you're 20 and you don't have a job?! Oh dear. haha I have one, but it's not great: McDonalds. lol I have been there for over a year and a half. fun fun
So how did you find these forums? I used to find alot of my tabs here, but never knew about the forums until my boyfriend ("Epaphras") told me about them. But he's taking a break from the boards for now. Anyways, I could ask more questions or ramble some more, but I won't. :-) Have a nice day.
Sarah

| Yeah, I'm a moocher by nature. Actually I was going to school full time and working part time, but my family moved to Louisiana, so I went with them. After we got here we decided its not the place for us. So now we're moving to Sacramento. Getting a job and/or going back to school are probably my two top priorities after we get moved. I think my parents are about ready to kick me out! Quote: |
So how did you find these forums?
| I ran the sound system at my last church for a couple of years, so I was involved with the praise team for a couple of years before I started playing. I was the youngest member, so I got a lot of R&D jobs lookin for music and stuff. So I found this sight looking for songs that my director couldn't get.

| Well, due to some extrenuating circumstances my family has to move a week early, so today, and maybe tomorow will be my last posting for a while. We could really use some prayer for our move. My mother has to drive a pickup with a car-hauler behind it, and she is kind of nervous about it. I have to drive also, but its in a car that I've driven a ton, so I'm not worried. Also, our new place isn't open for another two weeks, so we're going to stay at my grandmothers until we can get in. Anyways thanx for the prayers in advance, I'll probably be back online in a week.

| Well, I made it to my grandmothers house on Saturday. Her computer has had some problems, so I had to straighten it out, finaly got it running today. We get our new house next Sunday, so I will probably still post sporadicaly for the time being. Oh and my grandparents are giving me a hard time for not being in school anymore, and its kinda getting under my skin. I might go back to school, or get a job first and work for a little while, but its my decision and somebody else trying to tell me what to do kinda irks me. Oh well, I guess it is kind of normal.

| Hi Tim! I was wandering the boards (I'm at work and it's finally slowed down here... and I'm trying not to give myself carpal tunnel from knitting too much. Heh. so I'll do it by typing. ) and your title lured me in... so I thought I'd drop by, and drop a line...
