Anyways, my youth group, the youth pastor came here from California. What we have done during the past couple of summers was joined together for missions trips since they lacked a youth pastor. At the time that our youth pastor came to us, his dad's church(the church was at before ours) was in decline and was not ready to really start growing and doing a shift in how things were done. We needed a youth pastor about 3 years ago and God brought him to us.

Over time, we have managed to revamp the youth group and begin to grow again. What we are doing is actually becoming one youth group with multiple campuses. We'll have the campus in California and the one here in Illinois.

And our youth pastor will be there for the first half of every month and the last half of every month here. And we're going to continue joining with the California campus for missions trips. What's also in store is doing a summer internship program where you would go over to the other campus and work on ministry for a month and some people from there would come here.
