hey i was thinking about a line 6 delay modulator(the big green one)

should i get it or get something else? any sugestions?

Well, that's a matter of opinion. There's one group of people that love the Line 6 DL-4. And then there are the people that hate it and love the Boss DD-20. I have neither so I don't really have much opinion to offer.

Yeah the right power-supply is important because a battery powered delay is worthless.

I would like to nominate the Line 6 Echo Park Delay. It has a good deal of modualtion options, is fairly cheap (for a full featured delay), and sounds excellent. I received mine earlier today - best Christmas present I've ever got. I was completely blown away.

I personally prefer (and own) the Boss DD-20. I haven't actually tried the Line 6, but the DD-20 did what I wanted (several basic delay sounds, memory and tap tempo) and was quite a bit cheaper. If you want the variety, go for the Line 6, but otherwise I say go with the Boss DD-20 or maybe a DD-6. You could even check out the Echo Park that was mentioned.
