| So i've been going to this church out here on the peninsula (it's a calvary chapel). I like the music, I love the pastor, and everyone is friendly.
I feel really, really odd, going there though.
Something i've noticed about most calvaries is that it's "unusual" to be going there in your twenties and being single. Everyone i've met there so far is either married or in highschool. i'm like it seems as though it's my lot in life to be the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, etc wheel :-\
Other than that, it's been pretty fun, aside from the i'm23andasingleguy awkwardness.
I'd like to get involved with some of the ministry though. The music thing calls to me, and apparently they have a pub ministry. Any time I can go hang out with cool people, talk deep religious ideas, and drink guiness/macnjacks/etc i'm down.

| I've been 23 and single before. Sucks.
It's cool you found a church, though. And with a pub ministry to boot!
Do I have your new mailing address already? If not, you should PM me so I can send you your buttons finally.

| so i started moving on 9/14/06. I'm technically still moving.
That's about the only notable thing happening in my life.
I am officially making zero progress in any form of life currently. It's depressing.

| Andrew long time no post. :-)
How is life? How did the move go? I'm so sorry I didn't give you a call this summer. We really should have gotten together.
Referencing your earlier post I've noticed that about the Calvary chapel my sister goes to as well...I'm 21 and single and a lot of people my age are engaged/married. Very bizzare to me.
Hope all is well with you!

| things are going pretty well. You should give me a call if you're back over christmas. I'm supposed to be going up to snoquampton for snowboarding shenanigans at some point as well.
I've finally got to get muhself learned up, since I'm taking 2 weeks off work to go to Steamboat Springs in february
In other news, i've finally got a bike again which makes me happy, even if it is colder than a freezer outside. (look at a windchill chart for 30f @ 65mph sometime

| Hey dude! Doesn't look like you check this place very often, but I was just remembering you had that horrible-sounding trouble with your eye(s) in February, and I wanted to hear an update on that. I hope you're improving. |

| Jon,
You're right, I don't update near enough. My eye is fine now. there's a permanent scar in the white part but it doesn't affect my vision at all.
linked for the squeamish: pic #1 pic #2 pic #3 pic #4 pic #5 pic #6
the black line at the lower part of the eye in #6 (easily seen there) is actually the scar now

| Huzzah! An update!
Whoa... that's pretty nasty. So, when you say "fine," you mean all the red junk is cleared up? Anyway, glad to hear your vision's okay. |

| oh yeah, the redness is all gone, and the eye looks fine, aside from the little black scar tissue down at the bottom. Can't really see it unless i turn the eye and move the eyelid though so no one really sees it anymore.
I have more updates coming, I just need to get unlazy.
