So i umm.. just stayed up and went to work. I get off in a half hour, and will probably go home, put on my oil pan, and crash early tonight. for the win

not really. I don't have any real way to express myself here that will make sense, or not be scary.

Nothing bad is happening to me, perse, it's just that my brain is disagreeing with me, and I'm trying to work/sleep/waste time around it.

Oh, and I feel guilty for not accomplishing more, and guilty for the fact that I've basically done nothing worthwhile with my entire life.

so yeah.

I don't think that you are alone.

I completely disagree.

I was trying to explain to a certain female friend, whom matt & I know well about Migraines, and the issues with doctoring.

Naturally, I could spend ~$300 and go to a doctor. Of course, they will refer me to a Neurologist, which is big $$. Then there is the several thousand dollar MRI, and other tests. After all this, the likely story is that they're going to perscribe nasty painkillers. Yay!

I mentioned that I am waiting for health insurance and waiting it out. I bought some excedrin migraine, which actually seems to work, though it's the only thing with caffeine in it that has "wired" me in years.

I tend to get 5-7 migraines per month, though on a lucky month it might only be three. The severity also ranges from "minor" (as migraines go) to zero light tolerance, vomiting and whatnot.

I also tried explaining how you've never had a "painful" headache until death actually seems like an attractive option.

Somehow, having not experienced these things, I don't think she quite understood what I was getting at.

theoretically, i *could* but I've been saying that since 2002. or was it 2003? I don't know.

anyway, bowling with league tonight, and we freaking trounced the #1 team, which is odd, because we were in 8th place and have been sucking. However, we beat them not only in handicap (which is a bit easier, since ours is 100 pins more (for the whole team) per game), but also in scratch all three games.

I didn't roll over my highest series (499) but I did roll a 486 series, and bested my previous high game (185) with a 188, so i felt pretty good about that.

finally finding the groove, and it helps that i actually got some practice in this week outside of the actual league night.

the car saga continues, frustratingly. I just feel like i'm beating my head against the wall sometimes.

also, money is frustrating.

On the upside, i'm giving up my movie theater (this is an upside?) so i'm re-organizing my apt.

it's better, fwiw.

only sometimes? I thought that it was a nightly ritual to beat one's head against the wall. Some strange form of communion or something. I dunno, I got nothing.

I'm glad it's better. I'm being manic weird today. Like all chatty and such, and actually posting...and then I hit a low and am quiet...and now I"m all chatty again. go figure.
