haha, well 89's had real seatbelts which is nice. I've actually got all the pieces from an 89 to swap in.

speaking of cars though, wild west rally pics!

Wild West Rally 2009 - full gallery

Couple faves:

I had friends who were co-driving in the red evo & green crx, and another friend who was crew cheifing on the evo. Pretty epiqqq experience really.

art is breaking my brain with yet another survey, so blame him.

Are you 100% over all your silliness?
I have never been silly. Ever.

Are you currently looking forward to tomorrow?
It's garbage pickup day!

Are you wearing something that belongs to someone else?
Negative, people get mad when you take their clothes

Did you have a good day yesterday?
yes, home-made jalepeno poppers were on the menu, which makes any day wonderful

Have you ever kissed anyone whose name started with a D?
In the sense that my mom's name starts with a D, but that's not like a kiss since that would be extremely disturbing.

Whats running through your mind right now?
electrical impulses. Well, I'm thinking about my projects for the weekend, how I'm going to handle epiqqq halloween shenanigans, doing some sound gear swappage at church this evening, stuff going on at work. etc.

Does it bother you when people respond to you with one word?
Maybe.

Ok, so it depends on the question, or if we're trying to have a conversation. The more comfortable I am with a person, the more I can tolerate long seemingly awkward silences though, whereas if I'm not comfy, those awkward silences and breaks in conversation make me fidgety.

Have you kissed anyone whose name started with an N?

Are you keeping a big secret right now?
Not that I know of, but I'd definitely let you know first.

Where were your hands last night at 11 pm?
exactly 11? turning off the tv & such to go to bed. I am old.

How many piercings do you have?
just two in the ears, aside from an eye stabbing incident, but that healed up. (pm for pics!)

Do you currently have feelings for anybody?
Yes. Some people more platonicaly than others

Last time you laughed and why?
I laugh all the time, I can't even remember.

The last person you kissed, how many times have you cried in front of them?
I haven't really "cried" cried in a long time, so no. I get watery eyed at stupid things like "Jurrasic Bark" or "The Luck of the Fryish" from Futurama though.

Next time you will kiss someone on the lips?
I don't really put that on my calendar, seems spontaneity is better.

Do you plan on sleeping in tomorrow?
I'll be up at 6am to get ready for work, just like every weekday.

Do you have a piggy bank that's actually shaped like a pig?
No, I have an old natural gas meter from Niagra-Mohawk piggy bank, and a Classico spaghetti sauce jar that I keep quarters in.

What's something you really want right now, be honest?
a trust fund, so I can retire.

Does it matter to you if your boyfriend/girlfriend drink?
I enjoy having a cocktail or two with her, so it's great that she enjoys that as well.

First thing you do when you wake up?
Pray for the sun to stand still ala Joshua 10

Where were you 2 hours ago?
at my desk at work

Are you 100% over the last person you kissed?
hell no, nor do I want to be

Are your lips chapped?
nope, living in a super humid climate helps I guess

Does anyone have feelings for you?
I sure hope so

Is there someone you really like to hang out with and just talk about stuff?
yep, I have a couple close friends that are total win.

Have you ever ridden a skateboard?
very poorly

Last item you bought yourself?
some welding for #461

Are you a morning person or a night person?
I'm definitely a night person, but that's mostly

What time did you get up today?
06:25

What are you listening to?
my horrendously loud a/c at work ~95+db and a beta test customer that i'm working with on our new product.

Did anyone see your last kiss?
my eyes were closed, but I don't think so

Last person you rode in a car with?
my dad, we went to lunch

Are you happy with the choices you've made?
with every choice, ever? No, I would have to be insane. I am happy with many of them though.

Are you excited for anything?
a future weekend plan, getting my car running after all my three years

Do you think you will be in a relationship 3 months from now?
I'm trying to not screw things up before then

Where were you at 1:00 am?
sleeping

Name what you did yesterday?
went to work, beat a no front plate ticket, tore out the ABS from #461 and put the non-abs stuff in there,

Do you sleep with a fan on?
negative

What's going on between you and your most recent ex?
nothing

Will you talk to the person you like tonight?
or right now

Have you done anything sneaky lately?
I try to be clever, but sometimes it doesn't work out.

I am now ridiculously sick, sadly blowing many plans. I could def use some prayer to get better and to keep a good attitude even if I am not getting my way.

so apparently respiratory and bone aching are the two sure signs of swine flu (that and not having your body being a two ended geyser, which is kind of a plus) so it's pretty likely that is what I had. Given that one of the guys upstairs got diagnosed with it and we'd all been working together it pretty much fits. I wasn't about to go spend money on a doctor when the cure for the flu is "plenty of fluids, sleep as much as possible" which is basically what i've done every time i've had the flu in the past 26 years.

Either way, it's nice to be feeling back to normal. Tuesday I went to bed at like 17:15 and then went to work wednesday. Then I went home early took a sick day for thursday, drank my magic elixir (nyquil) and slept from 17:00-12:25. For those of you not used to the 24 hour clock, that's 19.5 hours, give or take a few minutes

All in all, feeling much more human today, my bones don't all ache and my lungs are less crackly (and all sorts of things are breaking up and getting hacked out, it's very wonderful

I don't do rallying, but I do plan on getting to the track eventually (for autox & drag). At this point rallying is too expensive and time consuming, so I just have fun going to see my friends racin'.
